ABOUT ME

Welcome, I'm Mary

I’m a therapist, advocate, and lifelong learner, passionate about supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ communities. I was born in Colombia and moved to the United States at a young age, and navigating multiple cultures has shaped both my personal journey and my approach to therapy.

I’m a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College and a certificate in Family and Relationship Therapy.

I believe in the resilience and strengths of every individual and strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their identity, heal from past wounds, and cultivate lasting growth. I also serve as Diversity Chair on the board of the Central Florida Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CFAMFT) and work with the Victim Service Center (VSC), facilitating groups for Latinx women and leading Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) programs.

At the heart of my practice is walking alongside clients on their healing journey by honoring their stories, celebrating progress, and empowering them to live with authenticity and confidence.
